A rapid and reliable size-exclusion chromatographic method for determination of kojic dipalmitate in skin-whitening cosmetic products

A size-exclusion chromatographic method has been developed to determine the relatively novel skin-whitening agent called kojic dipalmitate (KDP) in skin-whitening cosmetic products. Preliminary experiments were carried out in order to select the solvent for standard and sample solution, and also for mobile phase composition. A PLGel Mixed-D (polystyrene/divinylbenzene co-polymer) column and isocratic mobile phase of pure tetrahydrofuran (at 1.5 mL min(-1) flow rate) were used. Abstract Some hydroxylated compounds commonly used in cosmetic formulations including short chain glycols, benzylic alcohols, and organic acids show antimicrobial activity, although they are not considered as preservatives according to the existing European legislation. Mūsdienu komunikācija un informācijas apmaiņa notiek ne tikai izmantojot valodu, bet arī dažādus citus komunikācijas izteiksmes veidus, kā piemēram, attēlus, žestus, krāsas, mūziku un balsi. Multimodalitāte kosmētikas nozares ilgtspējīgās reklāmās tika izvēlēta, ņemot vērā pašreizējo pieaugošo pieprasījumu pēc ilgtspējīgiem izstrādājumiem, kā arī tendences komunikāciju izpaust dažādos citos veidos, ne tikai ar valodas palīdzību. Šajā pētījumā tika izmantota kvalitatīvā multimodālā analīze, balstoties uz Kresa un van Līvena (2006) (Kress and van Leeuwen) vizuālo komunikāciju modeli.
